The volume of gas is distributed between three tanks, two of which are installed in the subfloor of the vehicle, while another larger tank is located beneath the rear bench seat. Thanks to the intelligent tank distribution, the amount of space available in the interior and luggage compartment is basically retained.

If the gas tanks should ever be depleted and there is no appropriate natural gas or biogas filling station nearby, the system automatically switches over to petrol operation and uses the emergency reserves of a small, additional 12-litre petrol tank. You can see the current operating mode and fill level of the petrol tank in the instrument cluster, and also check the remaining range.
