Parking package with reversing camera finds parking spaces and assists you when manoeuvring into them. You can switch between manual or automatic manoeuvring at any time and don't need to worry about changing gear or speed. The reversing camera provides a better overview behind the vehicle.

Parking package with reversing camera provides audible and visual warning signals to ensure that no obstacles or passing vehicles go unnoticed. When reversing into a parking space, additional assistance is provided by the guide lines shown on the display.

The parking package with reversing camera relieves the strain on the driver when looking for parking spaces, and actively intervenes in the steering, gear changing and speed control when parking parallel or perpendicular to the kerb.

The PARKTRONIC system is supported by 12 ultrasonic sensors, four each at the front and two at the sides of the front and rear bumpers as part of the Parking package with reversing camera. The reversing camera is installed in the boot lid.

The parking scene, including symbolic representation, is displayed in the media display of the multimedia system. The PARKTRONIC sound output is transmitted to the front and the rear parts of the vehicle interior, helping to avoid collisions.

The Active Parking Assist is switched on and off using a switch in the centre console. The 9G-TRONIC automatically changes gear and the Active Parking Assist carries out steering and braking interventions in order to conveniently park the vehicle. The engine torque is influenced in such a way that the vehicle does not travel at more than 10 km/h. The parking process is completed with a maximum of 12 point turns and the driver can take back control at any time.

The Active Parking Assist can identify potential parking spaces on the driver side and the front passenger side at speeds of up to 35 km/h when searching for a parking space. The driver can select a parking space using the multifunction steering wheel or the controller. The Active Parking Assist then completes the parking process independently.

If you parked using the Active Parking Assist, you can also use it to automatically manoeuvre the vehicle out of the space again. In order to do this, the driver must confirm this procedure and select the direction in which he would like to leave the parking space.
